Syntagma

About the Game

Syntagma is a puzzle adventure game with platformer elements that challenges players with logic, planning, and precise movement. The story begins when the hero receives a mysterious package containing an ancient compass-like artifact and a map pointing to five forgotten locations with abandoned temples.

To unlock the secrets hidden within these temples, the hero must activate the artifact by collecting unique crystals that represent the five elements. These crystals are scattered across the world, and each one is protected by a carefully designed puzzle.

To obtain a crystal, players must solve platform-based puzzles by jumping only on active platforms. Each challenge requires discovering the correct sequence of steps, collecting all the keys on the platforms, and unlocking a vault that grants access to the crystal.

Movement is restricted and must be planned carefully. Moving backward or diagonally is not allowed, and players can only move forward, left, or right. Once movement begins, defense systems and obstacles activate, creating additional danger and increasing the challenge.

Syntagma features two difficulty levels that can be adjusted from the main menu. After completing the introductory level, the game encourages players to attempt the higher difficulty, offering a deeper and more strategic puzzle experience for those seeking an extra challenge.

How to Play

Use the mouse to click on platforms, tap the screen on mobile devices, or move the hero using the arrow keys on the keyboard. Mobile players can also use the on-screen arrow buttons for movement.

Avoid traps and obstacles by timing your jumps correctly. You can jump over hazards when moving toward them, click on the hero, press the spacebar on the keyboard, or use the jump button on mobile to make the hero jump in place and avoid collisions.

Plan each move carefully, follow the correct platform sequence, and collect all keys to unlock the vaults and obtain the elemental crystals.
